FKT 3DP1A Multi-Range Manometer, and Air Speed Meter
The FKT 3DP1A is a multi-range digital manometer, air speed meter, electronic barometer and electronic thermometer that can also measure humidity and calculate density. The FKT 3DP1A meter can have up to four independent pressure transducers installed, giving unmatched measurement ability and accuracy. Simply specify transducers with pressure ranges optimized for your measurements. The meter also calculates speed (actual and standard using an optional probe), humidity and density. The FKT 3DP1A can even be used for measurements in gases other than air.
Designed and Assembled in the USA
Features
- Simultaneous measurement and display of
- Up to three differential (or static or gauge) pressures simultaneously.
- Up to three independent speeds (actual or standard) using an optional flow probe such as Pitot-static, S type Pitot-static, Kiel or RAP.
- Temperature.
- Relative Humidity.
- Atmospheric pressure (or absolute pressure).
- Real time display of true density including effects of temperature, ambient pressure and water vapor.
- Auto-zero function without disconnect. Internal valve removes pressure or speed offsets. Your reference level never changes ensuring unmatched accuracy and reliability.
- Multiple pressure transducers allow for exceptional accuracy for both pressure and speed measurement. Simply use a transducer that fits your measurement range. You do not need to measure near the low end of the transducer's range any longer. For available ranges see the Ordering section below.
- Density calculation for gases other than air.
- K factor (probe correction coefficient) for non-unity probes such as the S type Pitot-static probes used in dirty environments.
- Easy user calibration.
- Effective averaging function for unsteady or turbulent flows.
- Over-pressure protection: If the applied differential pressure exceeds the transducer rating, the instrument will automatically enter the auto-zero cycle which will equalize pressure across the differential transducers reducing the possibility of damaging the transducer.
- No menus - exceptionally intuitive prompt driven operation.
- English and metric units.
- Large variable contrast 4 line LCD display.
- Portable with neck strap for hands free operation; great for mobility in the work place.
- Rugged water resistant case.
- Full data logging capability with optional FlowScan Software Suite. FlowScan performs logging; plotting, prompt driven duct Pitot probe surveys for airflow testing and even creates instant reports. FlowScan also has Excel connectivity to send the data directly to your worksheet.
